Golden ball is a cider apple tree originating from England. It is a heavy producer of medium sharp, clean tasting cider when pressed. A small-medium yellow to yellow gold apple is resistant to apple scab. Brix 11.5, acidity .5% and a tannin of .2%. Ripens in October.
