Co-op 29 is a pale yellow apple with a pink blush. Its cream colored flesh is very firm, crisp and breaking in texture. The flavor is spicy, rich, and sprightly sub-acid that mellows in refrigerated storage. Called Sundance in supermarkets it’s a highly resistant to apple diseases which means a good looking apple without spraying. It hangs well on the tree until over ripe without falling off. Great for fresh eating baking, and sauce. It ripens mid to late October. Zone 5, Bloom group 4
