Braeburn is a medium sized red streaked over green apple. The flesh is white, crisp, juicy and the flavor is rich, zesty, and mildly tart. This apple is high in both sugar and acid. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, sauce, and juice. It ripens late in October and stores well. It needs to be planted in a well drained open area with good air circulation to avoid common Apple diseases. Zone 4-8, bloom group 4
